Golden Jubilarians Celebrate at Mount Carmel

Fifty years after they first climbed the steps to the BVM Motherhouse, 19 jubilarians returned for a July 9 celebration. They are:

1st row, l. to r: Sisters Kathleen Franklin (Joselle), Therese Kulas (Dorinda), Marcella O'Rourke (Eugenia), Kathleen Morrissey (Rosalima), Florence Heflin (Floretta), Mary Waddell (Valerie);

2nd row: Mary Christine Athans (Christophil), LaVerne Dolphin (Thereselle), Donna Schauf (Blanche), Mary Ann Ruhde (Adoratrice), Kathleen McGrath (Johnine), Jeanne Mary Miller;

3rd row: Rosemary Surby, Joan Maga (Joanice), Patricia Nolan (Frederick Mary), Carola Broderick, Mary Lauranne Lifka, Fran Wohn (Alberic), and Elizabeth Huber.

Diamond Jubilarians

Marking their Diamond Jubilee of 75 years in religious life are (l. to r.) BVMs Ellen Murphy (Teressetta), Marius Mei and Jocile Walsh. Family and friends from near and far traveled to Mount Carmel for the Sept. 11 celebration.
