Mount Carmel Archives

Congregational archives are housed in the BVM Center, Dubuque, Iowa. Persons doing historical research and genealogy are welcome to use the archives.

The offices of the Iowa Conference of Archivists of Catholic Institutions are also located at the BVM Center. The ICAC networks the archivists of Catholic religious communities, dioceses, colleges and hospitals in Iowa and the neighboring states of Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.

The BVM Heritage Society pursues research, communication and education. Members and guests meet twice each year for presentations, dialogue, planning and celebration. Contact Society president Sister Pat Nolan at Pat.Nolan@clarke.edu.
