Mount Carmel

Mount Carmel is the spiritual home of the more than 550 women who are Sisters of Charity, BVM - the "heart" - where most of us first entered this community, learned the joys and challenges of religious life, deepened our prayer lives, broadened our vision of mission to God's people, and formed strong and lasting bonds of friendship. It is also where Sisters return in retirement.

Today, it is the physical home for more than 200 retired BVMs, and also the administrative center of the congregation, connecting with more than 350 Sisters who are in ministry beyond "the hill."
