Job Description:
The Sisters of Charity, BVM are seeking a full time Liturgist for the Mount Carmel Continuing Care Retirement Community. The Liturgist is responsible for the planning of all aspects of daily liturgy, sacraments of anointing and reconciliation, funerals and special prayer services and selecting appropriate music for such celebrations. The Liturgist secures the services of musician for the musical aspects of these celebrations. Qualifications include: practicing Catholic; Master’s degree preferred in Theological Studies or equivalent education/experience; 5 years experience in parish or diocesan office setting; pastoral and administrative ability; interpersonal and relational skills; computer proficiency.
