The focus of the Women’s Office this year continues the thrust on peacemaking by, for and with women and children at home and in our world. We will explore this focus also in the context of women and the church: faith tradition, spirituality, gender discrimination and visioning for the future of church.

The Office also pursues domestic issues such as TANF, Health Care and Globalization.

Staff works closely on these issues with many other national and international groups, especially women’s groups such as the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR).
