Archives

Congregational Archives are housed at Mt. Carmel in Dubuque, Iowa. Persons doing historical research and genealogy are welcome to use the archives.

Offices of the Iowa Conference of Archivists of Catholic Institutions are also located at the BVM Center. The ICACI networks the archivists of Catholic religious communities, dioceses, colleges and hospitals in the state.

The BVM Heritage Society also pursues historical research, communication and education. It meets twice each year for presentations, dialogue, planning and celebration. Contact Society president Sister Kathryn Lawlor, BVM for more information.
